Parker Goes Poo Poo in the Potty!!! First Time!!!

Parker has started the Early Preschool class now at Primrose so that means introducing them to the potty. The other night before bath time, I asked Parker if he wanted to go pee pee in the potty and he said yes, so we sat him on it and he sat there for a while but didn't end up going.

But a few days later after a course of encouragement, Parker went poo poo on the potty for the very first time!!! We and he were all so proud of him, fingers crossed this starts happening more and more.

Way to go Parker Bear!!!

1st Grade: First Day (Preston)

Today was Preston's first day of 1st Grade and he was pretty excited to go back to school...we'll see how long this excitement last, lol! Preston had his traditional breakfast made by Daddy which was pancakes and bacon!

This year, Preston went with a shark backpack and dinosaur lunch box.

We are so proud of Preston and can't wait to see what 1st grade has in store!!

Last year Preston went to the Rangers game with the boys and it worked out again this year. Maybe this will be a new tradition, finger crossed!

1st Grade: Meet the Teacher Night (Preston)

We officially have a 1st Grader!! I can't believe Preston's second year of school is about to start. at HCA. This time around, Preston was WAY less nervous and he was excited to see who was going to be in his class and who is teacher is going to be.

We learned Preston will have Mrs. Smith as his 1st Grade teacher and unfortunately Logan is not in his class this year but he does have Pria, Jonah and Cash in his class that he is excited about.

Some big differences between Kindergarten and 1st Grade are no more naps, you have to recite your bible verses  (not sing them), spelling words start and Friday test!

We let Preston choose where he wanted to go for dinner since this was his big night and he chose McDonalds!

SeaWorld San Antonio

We finished our summer trip by stopping in San Antonio to go to SeaWorld with Colby, Heather and their girls. We did both parks and had a great time. Preston really gravitated towards Emma and Parker loved Hailey!

The Shamu show as the icing on the cake and brought back so many childhood memories for me and Brent and we were so happy to share the same memories with our boys!
