Primrose Egg Hunt

I was soo excited to find out that Preston's school was coordinating an egg hunt for each class. It was scheduled for the Friday before Easter and it couldn't have been a more perfect day. It was sunny and 75 degrees. The parents who came a little early (like myself of course) helped the teachers lay out all the eggs in the playground area and that was fun because I got to know some of the other moms a little more. Preston was soo excited to see me during the day at school and I could tell he wanted to show off a little. The first name he learned of his classmates was Abby and I knew that I had to get a cute picture of them two together and luckily they both cooperated. Once we layed out all the eggs, the teachers set the kids loose to grabbed them all up. Preston ran out of the door and immediately dropped his basket at the door step and ran to the first egg he saw. He kept gathering eggs in his hands until his teacher finally hollered at him to get his basket. It was pretty cute that he got so excited.
After the egg hunt, it was time for the class picnic. The teachers layed out sheets for everyone to sit on and we all enjoyed a boxed lunch together. Preston did real good and sat in my lap most of the time. I loved it.
After the picnic, the kids went inside to work on puzzles while the other class did their egg hunt. I enjoyed watching Preston interact with the other kids and do as the teacher instructed just as he would if I wasn't there.
After puzzle time, they let his class back outside to play and it was so much fun watching Preston play with all his classmates and show off his jumping skills to me. His teacher let me know that Preston loves to jump off anything and everything. He is by far the one who loves to jump the most. It was an awesome day to say the least!!
