We have been wanting to take Preston to Bachman Lake Park to watch the airplanes at Southwest Airport fly over head but it has just been too cold to go but finally we had a break in the weather so on President's Day Brent and I took Preston to the park and it couldn't have been more perfect day. The weather was beautiful with the temperature in the 70's and best of all Brent had the day off!! Preston loved playing on the playground in between all the airplanes flying by so close to where we were. The roar of the planes grabbed his attention every time and he stopped whatever he was doing and watched the planes fly over. He loved the fast slide and finally learned how to land on his feet instead of falling when coming out of the slide. We stayed for about an hour and then continued our fun by grabbing lunch at Maple & Motor. Preston enjoyed his hamburger and fries and then it was time to head home. He hasn't fallen asleep in the car in a while but he worn himself out and slept the whole way home.
Soo blessed to enjoy a day like this one!!
