With the weather finally turning warmer, I couldn't wait to take Preston for a full and fun day at Klyde Warren Park. My mom and Jerod came with me and we all had soo much fun together. The day started with a trolley ride through Uptown and finally pulling up to Klyde Warren Park. Preston absolutely LOVED the trolley ride. He hung out the window, hung on tight with Jerod, looked up at girls bottom-side and played engineer. As soon as we got off the trolley at the Klyde Warren Park stop, we walked straight to the water fountains to let Preston play in the water. I knew he would have a good time and he surely did. He ran back and forth through the water, plugged up the water with his finger and feet, tried to fill his cup up with water and watch the other kids play in the water too. While Preston played, Mom took Jerod around to show him the park and to pick out some good eats from one of the food trucks. They came back with yummy chicken nachos and tacos. Preston stopped for a brief moment to eat with us and then he was back at it until Mom came back with a rainbow snow-cone. While he munched on that, my sweet tooth was calling too, so Jerod and I grabbed a few cake balls and 2 really big cookie and ice cream sandwiches from a couple of the food trucks. After our bellies were miserably full, we took Preston to the children's play area so he could experience that. We didn't stop by there first because when we first got there, the children's area was pretty crowded. But the crowd went down so we thought we would try it. Preston liked playing in the water mist and kicking water around after seeing other kids do that. He also climbed the tree a couple of times. We knew it was time to go when we noticed that Preston had gone poo poo. Jerod found it absolutely disgusting because the poo poo started to run and drip from being wet in his swim diaper. It was pretty funny to see Jerod soo disgusted. We loaded back onto the trolley to go back to the car and we called it a day...a really fun and special day!!
