Brent and I went to Kaboom Town this year like we do every year and boy was it hot. We started off at Blackfinn for a few beers and then headed to Champps for a quick dinner before the fireworks began. We met up with all my work people outside of Champps to watch the fireworks while downing more beers of course. Good times!!!

4th of July at Vicki & Dave's
This 4th of July was awesome. My parents joined Brent and I for a family cookout at Brent's Mom and Dave's house this year. Vicki & Dave cooked all the meat while the rest of us chipped in by bringing all the sides. Brad and his girlfriend Kim where there as well as Grams and Peeps. After dinner, we all got into the pool while Brent and Brad entertained us with a backyard fireworks show. By this time, Vicki's homemade ice cream was ready so we all got out of the pool and enjoyed that with Grams' strawberry cake. It started to get dark so we loaded up the cars and headed to McKinney to watch the city fireworks. It was a great ending to a great day!!!
