Wet Zone & My Parents 35th Wedding Anniversary

I finally got a chance to hang out with my little nephew, Jerod before the summer comes to an end. My mom and I took him to Wet Zone in Rowlett and he we had such a blast. Jerod showed me all his water tricks, we went down the water slide, floated the lazy river, played water wars and surfed on his skull board. Michelle, Bubba and Gracie all came later in the day so we ended up staying till they closed at 8pm. Towards the end we all chowed down on hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, snow cones, chili cheese fries and sodas. Not the healthiest but boy it sure was good!!

My parents celebrated their 35th Wedding Anniversary on July 26th, 2009. It was a special time for all of us!! We all celebrated by taking them out to lunch at Texas Road House. Bubba, Michelle & Jerod gave them a nice card and an "Anniversary" frame engraved with their nicknames for each other on it (Abby & Abby). Grandma & Leon gave them a card with some nice green in it and I wrote a poem about them and how much they mean to me. My parents have given me a family beyond compare and I love them with all my heart and sole!!
