High Tea Party

For my big "28" my mom planned a Girls Only Tea Party to celebrate my 28th and my grandmother's 76th birthday. What better way than to have a tea party with the girls on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in a cute little ol' house in Plano. Its actually one of the founding homes of Plano and the family still owns the home. They rent it out to these 2 ladies who have turned it into a really cute tea room. I have never done a High Tea before but I really enjoyed it. High Tea is a 5 course meal in which they serve you on real china dishware, serve 3 hot teas throughout the meal, soup, sorbet, biscuits, sandwiches, fruit and desserts. All of us girls got dressed up in dresses, hats and gloves and got to be extremely girly for the day. It was a fun day and wonderful memory!!
