Porter House: Swing bata bata swing

My little nephew is officially a little baseball player. Jerod went to one of Caden's baseball practices a few weeks ago to just watch but the team ended up being a few players short so they asked Jerod if he wanted to practice with them. He accepted the offer and had a great time. When he got home he told his momma and daddy that he really wanted to play baseball. Luckily the season hadn't started yet so Bub and Michelle got him all signed up and took him shopping for all his gear. He was soo excited and couldn't wait to get started. It was absolutely adorable when Jerod tired on his "cup" for the very first time. He was pulling on it and tugging on it but eventually he got used to it. Soooo cute. Below are pics from his very first game, he was a little nervous but did a great job.
He did have one little miss up...he was playing center out field and at this age not too many balls come his way. He ended up getting a little bored standing out there with no action so he started to not pay attention to the game. He was swinging his arms and looking up into the sky when the batter hit the ball and it was coming straight for Jerod. Jerod wasn't aware of this and the ball went right pass him. We were all screaming and hollering for him to get the ball but he didn't know what was going on. He eventually saw the right out fielder running towards him when he realized there was a ball right beside him. The right out fielder ended up getting the ball and returning it and lets just say Jerod learned his lesson that go around. From there on out, he was focused.
