Charity Gala for Type 1 Diabetes

Brent's mom, Vicki invited me to go with her to a charity gala supporting Type 1 Diabetes. This was dear to my heart as my little nephew's best friend who is just 10 years old has Type 1 Diabetes. He has to live his life so differently than all the other little kids and he does it with a smile on his face. He is the sweetest little boy and he never complains about getting pricked several times a day. I'm glad that I was able to be apart of something so great and the charity ended up raising over a million dollars that night. They had several guest celebrities that included Bret Michael's and a performance by Julianne Hough, she is absolutely beautiful. Thanks Vicki for a wonderful evening!!
