Family Activity - Riding the Carousel

Carousel Ride

Brent and I had an awesome family day with Preston a couple of Saturday's ago. We took him to Stonebriar Mall in Frisco to ride the Carousel and walk around the mall to do a little shopping. Preston absolutely loved the Carousel. He was intrigued by all the colors, motions and wind blowing through his hair as he went round and round. We rode it 3 times and then we took him to a few stores in the mall. He loved looking at all the people as they walked by and trying on hats at Baby Gap.
After our mall adventure, we went to the Shops at Legacy and ate dinner at a Seafood restaurant and then stopped by hobby lobby so Mommy could buy some fabric for a sewing project.
Preston fell asleep in the car but when we got home he was ready to play. We played with him in front of the mirror (his favorite spot in the house) and watched him use his legs to stand up and then watched him rock back and forth on his knees in preparation for crawling. What a great day!!!
