12 Months/1 Year!!!!

Our little baby has officially turned 1 Years old and I am at a total loss for words. This year has completely flown by and Preston has just been moving right along and developing so quickly. In the month of January Preston got his first haircut, walked out of his classroom on his own for the first time when I came to pick him up from school, started to wear shoes full –time, learned how to turn around in a circle, responds to “No Sir”, makes multiple sounds instead of the same sound over and over, isn’t scared of the sock monkey jumping out of the box anymore, got introduced to the iPad, plays with our iPhones, got his first ear infection, had his first birthday party and is now completely on sippy cups (no more bottles).
Weight 18.8 lbs (2%)
First Hair Cut
First pair of shoes
Learning how to use an iPad

Preston’s Likes
Preston is in love with bath time, splashing around and holding his hand underneath the water faust to feel the water run over his hands. He gets a real kick out of this but when he cups his hand over the faust and water sprays everywhere, it’s not soo cute anymore at least for mommy. This kid is not afraid of getting water in his face either. He loves pouring water from his blue bucket over his head during bath time and also drinking the bath water from the blue bucket. This month Preston has been entertaining himself by making himself laugh. I love seeing him smile. Preston loves to dance to the sound of music. Anytime he hears a tune, his little legs automatically begin moving up and down. Preston has discovered that he can reach the magazines on the coffee table and he has enjoyed learning how to push them all onto the floor. Now we need to teach him how to put them back on the coffee table. As all kids do, Preston loves playing with the pots and pans in the kitchen. He likes to bang them as hard as he can and make as much noise as he can.

Preston’s Dislikes
Preston is not a fan of being told no or staying seated in a highchair when we are at a restaurant.

Special MomentMy special moment with Preston this month is also my all-time favorite moment thus far and it happened on his first birthday. I will never forget the feeling I had when it was finally time to present Preston with his first birthday cake and sing happy birthday to him. But the special moment came when I looked around and saw 40 of our closest family and friends all there circled around Preston singing to him and him having the biggest smile on his face and clapping his hands as everyone sang to him. It was an incredible moment that was shared by so many and our family is truly blessed beyond believe.
Special Moment of All-time!!
