Preston is at a great age right now because he is so much fun to play with, is gaining more independence with each passing day and can now begin to express the things he wants. He smiles the biggest grin when he is happy and can throw himself down very gently on the tile floor when he is mad. It’s so funny to watch because when he gets mad and he is in the kitchen, he will lay back and slowly lower his hand on the tile floor making sure he doesn’t bang his head too hard. Little stinker. He loves closing doors throughout the house, he loves hugging his Teddie, he knows what you mean when you say “its bath time”, he loves picking up rocks and putting them in his mouth, he likes to play in the dirt inside the plant pots outside and throwing the dirt on the ground or giving the dirt to momma or eating the dirt, he likes pushing his lawn mower in the backyard, he will now sit on my lap and let me put his socks and shoes on, he still loves getting into the cabinets and pulling everything he sees out, he cries when I drop him off at school every morning and it breaks my heart, he loves feeling water run over his hands, he has learned how to push the button on his red motorized bike, when he does push the button he will look at you with the proudest grin, he’s still not a big eater but that might be because his momma is a terrible cook, it’s a still stressful to take him to a restaurant because he won’t sit still in the highchair for very long and finally he loves it best when Mommy and Daddy hug him at the same time.
