Egg Hunt, Egg Hunt, Egg Hunt!!

Rockwall Egg Hunt
This year for Easter egg hunts were in full force. I couldn't resist going to the first egg hunt of the season and that being the city of Rockwall one. The day ended up being a little chilly and very windy but Preston was a rock star and waited 30 minutes in the same spot for the egg hunt to begin. He refused to do the other fun activities because he didn't want to miss the egg hunt for anything. So in the meantime, Daddy got us cotton candy and that helped!
But as soon as the announcer said "Go" he was off! There must have been thousands of eggs but those kiddos cleaned them all up within minutes. Preston had a full bucket and he was quite satisfied. He got to see the Easter Bunny to top it all off!

We stood here for 30 minutes waiting
See Mommy, I not crossing the line yet
 Ready, Set, GO
Opening the eggs in the car, he couldn't wait till we got home

Church Egg Hunt
Palm Sunday gave Preston another reason for an egg hunt. This one was much smaller but nevertheless, he was beyond excited. He just loves collecting the eggs (eggs only, no loose candy or other type of packages will do) and then opening them up to see what the surprise is inside. He watches a lot of YouTube videos with kids opening eggs, so I think that is why is likes it so much. Mal and Paw Paw got to watch him egg hunt and that is always fun!

Primrose Egg Hunt
Preston's third round of egg hunting was at school the Friday before Easter. Mal and Paw Paw came which added to the excitement for Preston. Preston loved this hunt just as much as the others and came home with a lot of candy!

This Easter Bunny was a little scary looking to me :/
The kids are ready to go
 Preston can hardly retain himself
Asking Mal if this has peanuts...good boy
