This year for Easter we attended the Saturday night service to allow for more open space on Sunday for all the guests. It was a unique experience going on a Saturday night but it was nice to take our time Sunday morning getting ready and heading to David and Tina's for our family Easter celebration.
Preston and Daddy kicked the ball for a while in the backyard and then Tina got all the kids a special Golden Egg with prizes inside. Preston loved his Golden Egg. After a very delicious lunch, the kids were ready for the egg hunt. Jerod, Preston and Christina layed the eggs out in the backyard for Kaci and Makinzi and Kaci and Makinzi layed the eggs out in the front yard for Preston and Caroline. I think that worked out perfectly and all the kids had more eggs to gather than space to put them.
Tina and Christine did a great job of making a few special prizes with each kids name on them with small stuffed animals and different type of prizes inside. It took Preston almost an hour to open all his eggs. It was so much fun but I think Preston liked his whoopee cushion the best. He had not seen one of those before and thought it was hilarious to hear the farting sound it made for whoever sat on it.
Next year, Parker will be part of the festivities as well as Chad and Christina's new little boy!!
