One of our first activities for Christmas was of course to go see Santa. We learned our lesson last year that at Bass Pro you needed to get a pass in order to see Santa so we did just that and didn't have to wait very long at all when we took Preston to go see Santa. I was feeling 50/50 about how Preston would react this year. 50% thought he would not like it at all and cry and 50% thought he would do pretty good considering he had been talking about Santa and we were referencing him a lot.
He was a little nervous when we got to the front of the line and he could see Santa but he willingly walked up to him and sat on his lap. He didn't cry but he didn't smile. It was too cute.
After Santa, we drove to the house in Rowlett that was featured on TV to see the light show. Preston didn't like the loud music so we enjoyed the show from inside the car. It was really neat to see how these people figured out how to make their house into a talking house.

Christina and Chad just moved into their new home and they welcomed everyone over for an Ornament Exchange and Open House. It was fun to watch Preston play with all of Caroline's girly toys but he didn't seem to mind. Christina and Chad did a really nice job on fixing up their new house (Chad's Grandmother's house) and they served chili and corn bread. The ornament exchange was a lot of fun and there was lots of ornament stealing!! They have a music room in the front and Chad let Preston play his drums...needless to say, Preston loved being allowed to bang on something and getting praise for it!!

Brent surprised Preston and I one evening when he called and said lets go to North Park to see the train display. I told Preston we had a surprise for him and he was super excited. When we told him we were going to go see trains, he wanted to see them right away. He loved the ones that went by really fast!

Primrose held their class Christmas party a few days before Christmas Eve and encouraged the parents to bring a $5 wrapped gift because Santa would be stopping by and he would give your child the gift. I though that was a really fun idea and the first thing Preston told me when he saw me at his party was that Santa came and gave him a bird. He was soo excited about his gift from Santa!! Love it!!
