Christmas Eve

Traditions were in full swing at Christmas Eve as we gathered with my side of the family and ate our traditional chicken enchilada's, mom's taco salad, Michelle's mexican rice and chips and hot sauce from El Phenix. I surprised everyone with a snowy entrance by setting up the snow machine on the side of the house and it was a big hit. Lots of us wore Christmas PJ's and we sang Christmas carols again like we did last year. But this year it was extra special because Jerod was able to play his guitar along side Chad and we were soo proud of him. He has been taking lessons and has really gotten into playing the guitar.
I asked Jerod to play Santa this year and pass out the gifts and he took it one step further and came up with a whole Santa-themed outfit that he completed made up himself. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Preston received soo many wonderful gifts and he loved every minute of opening his gifts and instantly playing with everything he got. This year was the year of trucks, cars and more trucks. He got several trucks, P-cars, school bus, helicopers and airplanes but his big gift was a kitchen from my parents. Him and Caroline had a ball playing with all the food and kitchen utensils.
Christmas Eve was amazing and we are truly soo blessed!!
