We got together for Christmas with John, Kathy, Brad and Jessie on December 21 and as usual Kathy prepared a delicious meal for us all. After dinner we opened gifts and I was excited to see how Preston would react this year to opening his gifts. Last year, he would open his gifts really slowly and liked that it was a toy but didn't quite get it fully. This year was completely different and soo much fun to watch. He would unwrap his gifts very quickly and was soo excited to see what toy he got. He was over the moon when he opened a remote control P-car. He couldn't wait to get it out of the package and he made Nana's night by his level of excitement. He also received a set of Mickey Mouse Club House characters and again, he was over the moon with excitement. He wasn't as excited about the clothes he got but thats to be expected.
After we all opened our gifts, we sipped on some hot chocolate and watched Christmas Vacation to round out the night. It was a perfect start to our Christmas celebration!!
