Jerod's 9th Birthday

I can't believe my little nephew is 9 years old. He is growing up so fast but he is growing into a smart, charming and loving little man. Michelle did an awesome job as usual on throwing a totally themed out Luau Party for Jerod and all his friends. His invitation was the cutest...Michelle dressed him all up Hawaiian style and took his picture in the sand box outside their place and it looked like he was on the beach in Hawaii. I think this was the 3rd year in a row where we had his party in mom and dad's backyard. Rain threatened to spoil our fun but luckily it held out and actually made for a very nice day. The kids got to slide down the shark slip-in-slid, munch on hamburgers and hot dogs, have a silly-string and water balloon fight as well as top their favorite ice cream with all the topping imaginable. They ended the day with a good game of limbo and presents. Jerod had a blast and I can't wait to see what we do for his 10th Birthday!!
